What would happen if we spend less time at home scrolling and more time in the world connecting with one another??
The Crisis
Today, only 30% of Americans socialize on any given day. As of 2023, young people spend 45% more time alone than 15 years earlier. Two-thirds of Americans under 30 believe most people can't be trusted. According to Sherry Turkle, even time together with others is compromised by our connected devices, which make us less present to those around us.
The Hypothesis
People need to spend time connecting together in order to reverse feelings of isolation and separation, and to improve individual and collective well-being.
The Method
5 weeks of events curated for connection!Events are mostly free or donation based. Some events are ticketed. Check website for more details.Many events are facilitated and may have specific programming. Other events are self-guided public events.**Join us for just one event or many!

Patio Conversations
Indeed Brewing Patio
Using conversations guides from "Living Room Conversations" we will gather to learn more about each other. Breaking into groups of 4-6, we will engage in 60 - 90 min discussions. Possible topics include Values, Belonging, Empathy, Death and Culutre, Food, Hope, and many more.
All you need to bring is your curiosity!

After hosting a neighborhood holiday party for many years, we decided we wanted to try events in our backyard that would bring neighbors and friends together to feature local musicians.All of the work for the shows is provided by neighborhood volunteers.Our goal is to create a space that is supportive of artists and community building, and a welcoming space for anyone who attends.

Join us for a study series exploring the intersection of Buddhism, the Beat writers, and teachings of Alan Watts. During these sessions there will be time for reading excerpts from the Beat poets, listening to Alan Watts lectures, and guided discussions about all of the above.
No prior knowledge necessary, materials provided.
